From your backyard patio to the deepest backcountry adventure around the world, the Celestron Hummingbird 7-22x50 Spotting Scope is designed to be your constant companion wherever you enjoy watching birds, bees, and other wildlife. Measuring just over 7 inches long with a comfortable 45° angled eyepiece, this spotter will easily fit in your pack or pocket and can be used mounted to a tripod, monopod, window mount, or simply held by hand for fast glassing on the go.
Its broad 7-22x magnification range lets you scan wide swaths of the landscape looking for targets with the ability to crank up the power for an up-close look when you find something interesting. At the low end of the magnification range, the scope can replace your binoculars—eliminating the need to carry a second optic. Its moderately sized objective lens boosts low-light usability without making the optic too big or cumbersome. To further improve light transmission, Celestron employs BAK4 prism glass and phase-correcting prism coatings, with anti-reflection multi-coatings on the lens system. These features work together to ensure views are bright and clear with high contrast and sharp resolution, even when viewing small subjects at long range on high magnifications.
The compact housing is made of a light polycarbonate material that will withstand the harshest environments and conditions with a protective rubber armor that provides sure handling while you're setting it up or breaking it down on a tripod or pulling it from your pocket to take a quick look up a ridge. A standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount lets you attach it to most photo/video/field tripods, tripod heads, quick release plates, or other support systems. Celestron also includes woven nylon carrying case that has both a removable shoulder strap and a belt strap to give a variety of carrying options in the field.

Use and Handling
- The eyepiece is set at a 45° angle to the body to place the head in a comfortable viewing position whether the user is standing, sitting, or lying prone
- Large focusing and power selector collars are slip-resistant, so adjustments are easy in cold and wet weather or while wearing gloves
- Twist-up rubber eyecup for comfortable use with or without eyewear
- Standard 1/4"-20 tripod mounting to make it compatible with most photo/video/field tripods, heads, and quick release plates
- 15mm eye relief reduces eyestrain, especially during long observation sessions
- Wide 7.1mm exit pupil at 7x will completely cover the pupil as it opens and fully dilates in low light, so the whole scene remains in view
