The Celestron 10x42 Nature DX ED Binoculars are specifically made for hunters, birders, and outdoor enthusiasts. It features anti-reflection fully multi-coated extra-low-dispersion (ED) glass lenses with phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms. The apparent angle of view approaches a wide angle. The binoculars also minimize the appearance of the distracting hand-shake that is common when holding high-power optics.
Designed to stand up to a lifetime of outdoor use, the binoculars' chassis is made of lightweight and durable polycarbonate. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring-sealed to make them waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme changes in temperature or environmental conditions. Celestron binoculars include tethered front and rear lens caps to add an additional layer of protection in the field, with the ability to quickly react to glassing opportunities without fear of losing the caps. For those long days in your blind, in the field, or if you just want to eliminate arm fatigue or hand-shake, the Nature DX ED can be tripod mounted using an optional adapter.
